Always thank them for offers of help and only then possibly explain that you are already familiar with the situation. Be careful not to talk about successes from your previous job too often.
Do not spread gossip
Even seemingly small talk about news from the world of celebrities, which you make with your colleagues just for the sake of conversation, can cause you harm. When your boss asks your colleagues how successful you are, he or she should not learn that you are spreading the latest news from the tabloids around the company.
Focus on work only
Refrain from any private communication at work. This applies to your smart phone as well as Facebook.
Avoid big changes in your appearance
Arriving with a striking hair colour or wearing clothes that are completely beyond your company standards after only a few weeks in a new job is not reasonable. The company may lose interest in investing in you.
Do not rely only on your memory
Write down all important things. The people around you will notice very soon that you don't remember anything.
Do not be late
No matter where you go, be there at least 10 minutes early. Late arrivals make it clear that you are not able to organize your time.
Do not refuse invitations to sit with colleagues
Welcome all opportunities to get to know your colleagues better. However, prefer listening rather than talking about yourself.
Smile at others
Even such small things as smiling and maintaining eye contact can do a lot. Start each day with a friendly welcome.
