Getting up early in the morning
Even though there are several honourable exceptions, most successful creative people are early birds. Benjamin Franklin, Howard Schultz, Ernest Hemingway: all these people are known for getting up early. You can get plenty of work done early in the morning when most people are still asleep and there is no one to disturb you.
Regular exercise
It is a proven fact that exercising regularly improves one's mood, boosts energy and increases productivity. Therefore, it is no wonder that top creative people and leaders engage in exercising.
Strict set of rules
Successful people are highly organised and adhere to a strict schedule. They know what they are doing, when and why. There is no sense of chaos in their actions. Proceeding according to a specific plan frees their minds and they are able to think creatively and innovatively.
More stakes at once
For you to be truly innovative and creative, your entire livelihood cannot depend on the outcome of one particular thing. It is better to have more projects, work on more items at once and not rely completely on just one activity: unfortunately, such a form of dependency kills creativity.
Working anywhere if at all possible
Many people tend to work only in one place specifically designated for working (such as an office); they do not think at all about work when elsewhere. However, the most successful people work at all times, such as while eating breakfast or travelling to and from work. Working does not necessarily mean physical activity; it may just involve thinking about a certain problem.
