Talk openly

According to the Harvard Business Review, proactive communication is key. Talk openly with your entire team or individual team members, listen to their concerns and frustrations, and show that you care about their opinions.

Encourage positive feedback

You can easily boost team morale by occasionally praising subordinates for their achievements. Remember to appreciate a job well done and encourage your subordinates to appreciate one another as well.

Focus on work-life balance

Bad moods often stem from overwork or exhaustion. Encourage breaks and set boundaries that respect work-life balance.

Consider a change of scenery

Even a small change, such as a team lunch away from the office or a workday in a different space, can provide a boost and improve your mood.

Encourage collaboration

If the team is in a lull, try engaging members in joint projects that encourage collaboration and a sense of belonging. Employee morale will often increase when they feel like a constructive part of the team.
