Try to make rational decisions
Determine which of your particular decisions might have been influenced by emotion and try consciously to suppress your emotions so you make decisions based solely on logic.
Write down pros and cons
Write down pros and cons in two columns. Make a note also of all relevant facts related to the decision. This oldest and most traditional aid is unbelievably effective because sometimes you simply cannot keep all the information in your head at once in order to make a qualified decision.
Reduce the number of options
Another simple way to make a decision easier is just to reduce the number of choices you are selecting from. Decide which factors are the most important for you, then select a small number of choices that meet these criteria and do not consider the others.
Do not become overwhelmed by details
Look at the whole matter from a wider perspective and maintain a certain distance. Do not get involved too much in detail and remember to see everything in the overall context of the given situation.
