Travel agencies and offices, companies offering accommodation and companies from the media sector are most represented on social networks. The number of companies actively using social networks has increased from 15% to 34% since 2013. Nonetheless, in this respect, the Czech Republic is lagging behind the EU average.
While most companies have an Internet connection, not all employees work with the Internet or computers: approximately half of them do. This year for the first time, the number of those with access to the Internet from their computers at work exceeded 40%. Compared to other EU countries, however, this is again one of the lowest proportions.
