The Richard Branson of Cornwall. This is the nickname of the successful British entrepreneur Tim Smit who became famous by transforming a former kaolin mine in the world's largest greenhouse. The complex, called the Eden Project, has been visited by over 13 million people since 2000. It is basically a large botanical garden where various cultural and sporting events are held as well. It also serves as an educational center. In addition to being a big tourist attraction, the Eden Project develops a number of scientific and charitable projects related to nature conservation.

Tim Smit sees the success of his business in teamwork. He currently employs around 700 people and tries to develop not only collegial, but especially friendly relations among them. The culture of his company is built on nine rules that are mandatory for all employees. What would you think about such rules?

Tim Smit's nine rules

1. You have to say "good morning" to at least twenty people before you start working.

2. Every year you have to read two books about which everyone who knows you would say that they do not correspond to your knowledge and interests. Then prepare reviews for your colleagues.

3. Repeat step no. 2 with a single piece of music.

4. Repeat step no. 2 with one show.

5. Repeat step 2 with one film.

6. Once a year, you have to prepare a speech summarizing what makes you passionate about your work and why you like to work with us. If you do not know what to say, it is a reason to leave.

7. Once a year, you have to prepare a meal for your closest colleagues and other important people around you.

8. As fortune likes those who share it, you have to do a random good deed for a stranger once year (and he must never find out that you did it).

9. All employees must learn to play the drums.
