Before you do this, review your recent posts and remove those that may not not show you in the very best light. Be careful, however, not to come across as too perfect. You must be genuine.
Most people share posts on Facebook like on a blog. Try to be different by drawing attention to yourself via meetings with real people. Try to reach out to local schools, libraries or communities, and offer yourself as an expert to speak on a certain topic. You might also organise a professional course, workshop or webinar for people who are just starting out in your field. Promote these actions on Facebook and share your experiences.
Follow other experts and influencers from your field and don't be afraid to contact them. Facebook communication is much less formal than that on LinkedIn. For example, if you read an interesting article or book, you can write your opinion to the author. You can share your experience or ask something. That is an easy way to build a network of contacts who will give you more credibility in the eyes of others.
